General

Is this a real email service or just a joke?

Yes, [@fuck.it] is 100% real - and it’s very serious about privacy, security and of course attitude. It’s powered by enterprise-grade infrastructure from Open-Xchange (OX), runs on geo-redundant, ISO 27001 certified servers in Germany and complies with GDPR - some of the strictest privacy laws on the planet. No gimmicks, no bullshit. Just a bold, secure inbox with edge - featuring built-in at-rest encryption and optional end-to-end encryption for those who want maximum control.

Why should I use [@fuck.it] instead of Gmail or Outlook?

Because we don’t scan your emails, sell your data or shove ads in your face. Also, do you really want an email like john12345@gmail.com when you could be john@fuck.it?

How do I get a [@fuck.it] email?

[@fuck.it] is invite-only. If you know someone with an account, ask them to invite you. Otherwise, keep an eye out for limited releases or Request an Invite

How does the invitation system work?

Every new account gets a limited number of invite codes. These invite codes allow friends to join [@fuck.it]. If you decide to revoke an invitation, the issued link and code will be invalid and you’ll regain one invite slot. The invited person will not be notified about the revocation.

Can I choose any email address I want?

Mostly. Standard usernames are included in your plan free of charge, but premium usernames cost extra. Premium usernames include:

  • ULTRA Premium: One-letter usernames (e.g., a@fuck.it) and highly exclusive names.
  • ELITE Premium: Two-letter usernames (e.g., ab@fuck.it) and famous names.
  • SUPER Premium: Three-letter usernames (e.g., xyz@fuck.it) and common names.
  • RARE Premium: Four-letter usernames (e.g., wxyz@fuck.it) and other names.
  • BASIC Premium: Brandable names, professional terms and other reserved usernames (e.g., moonhowl@fuck.it).

Will emails from @fuck.it end up in spam?

We do everything on our side to keep [@fuck.it] mail deliverable: proper authentication, abuse monitoring, clean sending practices and active reputation checks. Our latest independent spam tests show a strong deliverability score.

That said, no email provider can guarantee inbox placement every single time. Spam filtering also depends on the message content, the recipient provider, sender behaviour and whether users mark messages as spam. We keep the infrastructure clean. You still need to send like a decent human.

What is Identity Lock?

Identity Lock is our way of protecting your @fuck.it username from sneaky look-alikes. Once you claim a username like your.name@fuck.it, nobody else can grab variations such as your-name, your_name, or yourname.

On EDGE, APEX plans and with all Premium usernames, Identity Lock PLUS takes it further. It blocks spammy separator tricks (y.o.u.r_n-a-m-e), digit swaps (y0urname), and even simple typos like missing, added or swapped letters (yournme, youranme). In short: no one can register a look-alike that could be mistaken for you.

How much does it cost?

We offer three plans:

  • CORE – USD 5.90/month (10GB mail storage)
  • EDGE – USD 11.90/month (30GB mail storage + 10GB file storage)
  • APEX – USD 24.90/month (100GB mail storage + 30GB file storage)

Pay yearly and save 20%.

No free tier. Because free = you are the product.
All prices include taxes already – no surprises at checkout.

Will you ever allow free accounts?

Hell no. Free email services survive by selling your data and flood you with ads. We don’t play that game.

What kind of support do you offer?

Real humans, no chat-bots. We aim to answer every ticket within 24 hours (APEX users jump the queue with priority support). Contact our support team by email support@fuck.it or use our [support form].

Who’s behind this?

A bunch of people who got tired of how email works, said fuck it and decided to fix it so that you will love it.

Security & Privacy

Do you support encryption?

Yes. All connections are protected with TLS in transit and your data is also encrypted at rest on our servers. On selected plans, we offer OX Guard - which enables end-to-end encryption for your email, attachments and Drive content. You may also use your own PGP keys if you prefer full manual control.

Is my email secure?

Yes. On top of encryption we use state of the art anti-spam and anti-phishing tech. No ads, no tracking, no BS.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is hosted in ISO 27001 certified data centers in Germany, protected under GDPR and backed by geo-redundant systems for reliability.

How secure is this platform, really?

Your data is backed by Open-Xchange infrastructure which meets ISO 27001 certification standards, supports geo-redundant hosting and complies with GDPR. You also get TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest and optional end-to-end encryption with OX Guard.

Do you support two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Hell yes. Flip on TOTP in Settings › Security and pair any authenticator app (Aegis, Authy, Google Authenticator - your call). Hardware keys via WebAuthn are on our roadmap.

Do you store logs of my emails?

Nope. We don't log or scan the content of your emails - ever. Your privacy is paramount and we believe in keeping your communications strictly between you and your recipients. For security and anti-spam, we might keep minimal technical data like IP addresses and timestamps, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't build profiles, track you or sell anything.

Can you read my emails?

No, we don't. We don't read, scan or mine your mail. Not for ads, not for support and not for curiosity. If we help you with a problem, we ask you for what we need instead of digging through your inbox.

However, by default, [@fuck.it] is not a zero-knowledge mailbox. Your mail is encrypted in transit and at rest, but standard webmail still has to store and display your mailbox so the service can work. That means message content could, in principle, be requested from the infrastructure operator through a valid legal process.

If you want stronger protection, use OX Guard on supported plans or bring your own PGP workflow. Guard adds end-to-end encryption for mail, attachments and Drive files. It is off by default and applies only when you choose to use it. See our Threat Model for the full picture.

Where are your servers located?

Our servers are based in Germany, benefiting from strong privacy laws.

What happens if my account gets suspended?

Contact our support team to resolve the issue. Repeated violations may lead to permanent suspension.

How do I report spam or abuse?

Use the "Report" feature in your inbox or contact support directly.

How do I submit a DMCA takedown request?

Email our legal team with all necessary details at dmca@fuck.it or use our support form [here].

Features & Usability

What’s included in my account?

Every account includes webmail access, IMAP/POP3/SMTP support, premium usernames (if selected) and encrypted, ad-free inbox access. Depending on your plan, you may also get:

  • OX Drive: Secure cloud storage for your files
  • OX Documents: Online editing of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Calendar & Contacts: Integrated tools to stay organized
  • Tasks: Keep track of your to-dos directly in the app
  • Email Undelete: Recover deleted messages for a short time
  • OX Guard: Optional encryption for emails, attachments, and storage

Can I store and share files?

Yes. With OX Drive (available on supported plans), you can securely store, manage and share your files. Everything is encrypted and nothing gets scanned or sold. It’s your private locker in the cloud.

Is there a built-in office suite?

Absolutely. You can create and edit text documents, spreadsheets and presentations directly in your browser using OX Documents. No need for external software.

Do you support Tasks & Calendars?

Yup. OX Tasks and OX Calendar are included on all plans - so you can track to-dos, share calendars and sync across devices without bolting on a third-party service.

What’s the maximum attachment size?

All plans share the same platform limits: 30 MB per e-mail / 25 MB per attachment. Need to blast a 4 K video? Use Drive Mail - it swaps the file for a 1 GB download link.

Can I use my [@fuck.it] email on my phone or mail apps?

Yes. We support IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, so you can use it with any email client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.). There is also a webmail interface that you can use in any browser.

Can I connect my old Gmail, Outlook.com or other inboxes?

Yep! Use "Add e-mail account" inside Settings › Mail and log in with your Gmail, Outlook.com or other IMAP/POP credentials. All folders from that account appear in your sidebar and if you enable "Unified Mail", new messages roll straight into one blended inbox.

  • Authentication is handled securely by the provider (OAuth or password, depending on who it is).
  • Messages stay on the original provider’s servers, so they don’t eat into your [@fuck.it] storage quota.
  • Depending on the external provider’s policy you may be able to send mail through that account as well – the UI will let you know.

Will there be a [@fuck.it] mobile app?

Yes. We're developing apps for both iOS and Android. Stay tuned for updates.

Which email clients work with [@fuck.it]?

Anything that speaks IMAP/SMTP. Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Outlook, K-9 Mail - even mutt if you’re old-school. Webmail is there when you need it, but you’re never locked in.

Do you plan to offer custom domain support?

No.

Are there any system limits I should know about?

Yes. To keep performance predictable for everyone we cap certain items (e.g. 30 MB max mail size,200 k messages per mailbox, etc.). You can find the full table of limitations in our Terms of Service.

OX App Suite How-Tos

Use the dropdown beside each name to pick "Viewer" or "Editor". You can set an expiry date, require a password or revoke access at any time.

Can I share a single task list or entry?

Yes. Open the three-dot menu beside the task list (or task) › Share/Permissions. Pick link-sharing or invite people by email, set "Viewer/Editor" and optional expiry / password, just like calendars and contacts.

How do I encrypt files in Drive?

  • Upload encrypted: New › Upload file (encrypted). A padlock icon confirms encryption.

(Only on plans supporting the OX Guard service)

How do I recover an email I deleted from Trash?

Use Email Undelete (if your plan supports it): click the three-dot icon next to Trash › Recover Deleted Items, tick the messages, choose "Move Selected Items" and pick the destination folder. You’ll get a notice when the recovery is done (works up to 14 days after permanent deletion).

Account Management

What happens if I forget my password?

Use the password recovery option on the login page. If that fails, [contact our support team].

Can I change my email address later?

One account, one address. Your email address is fixed once created. If you want a new one, you’ll need to register a separate account. No swaps, no takebacks.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards and PayPal.

What’s your refund policy?

Once your mailbox has been provisioned, activated or set up, the purchase is final. No voluntary refund is available after that point, whether you used the mailbox or not. Think of it like biting into the apple: once it is yours and ready to use, it cannot go back on the shelf.

Before provisioning, we may review refund requests for valid reasons such as a duplicate charge, billing error or a technical failure on our side that prevents us from provisioning the Service. Refunds are not available for renewals, setup fees, custom services, premium username purchases, change of mind or failure to use the Service after provisioning.

How do upgrades or downgrades work?

Plans are month-to-month. Slide up or down whenever you like and we’ll prorate the difference automatically at the next billing cycle. No exit fees, no hostage drama.

How do I cancel my account?

Contact support at support@fuck.it or use our [support form]. Once we receive a clear cancellation request, we’ll process it for you.

Your account stays active until the end of your current paid period. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time. No hoops, no hostage drama, just a clean exit.

What happens to my data if I close my account?

We queue your mailbox and Drive space for deletion after 30 days. Before that cutoff you can still export mail via IMAP/POP3 or download Drive files. Once purged, it’s gone from your account. Some technical, billing, tax, security or abuse records may be kept longer where required by law or legitimate operational need.

What happens to my username after I cancel?

If your account had at least one non-refunded paid subscription, we reserve your username and the look-alike variants protected by Identity Lock / Identity Lock PLUS for 12 months after closure. Nobody else can grab them in that time and you get first claim if you come back. This username hold is separate from data deletion: your mailbox data is queued for deletion after 30 days.

If an account never completed a non-refunded paid subscription or the payment was fully refunded, the username and reserved variants may be released immediately unless we decide otherwise in writing.

Troubleshooting

Where can I check if the [@fuck.it] servers are operating?

We won’t ghost you. If anything’s down - mail, calendar, or unicorn magic - you’ll see it here: status.fuck.it - That’s where we post real-time system updates. No sugar-coating. No hiding. Just the raw state of things.

I’m not receiving any new emails - what should I check first?

Open Settings › Mail › Auto Forward If forwarding is "On", be sure the box Keep a copy of the message is ticked; otherwise all mail is moved straight to the external address.

My folder list disappeared — how do I bring it back?

Click the double-arrow icon at the bottom-left of the sidebar to toggle folder visibility.

I’m close to my storage quota — where can I see exact usage?

Check the quota bar on the left side of the interface, or add the Storage widget in the Portal ("+ Add widget") for a perpetual dashboard view.

Too much spam! How do I block a sender?

Either click Mark as spam (future mail goes to Junk) or put the address on your Blocklist via Settings › Mail › Access Lists › Blocklist (or Add sender to Blocklist in the burger-menu).

Legitimate messages are going to Spam — how do I fix it?

Remove the sender from your Blocklist: Settings › Mail › Access Lists › Blocklist, then click the trash-can icon next to the address.
